
Visiting Our Community!
On May 24 the JK's and SK's walked to the post office and the police
station. At the post office we got to see mail, money and candy. We
also found some of our mail boxes. After we went to the police
station. We saw a police officer, her duty belt and a police car. We
got to go into the police car and hear the sirens! The door in the
back of the car was closed and we couldn't get out until it was opened
from the outside. Some of us had hand cuffs on and couldn't get the


Reading Buddies
The Grade Five buddies are studying the trees around Pinawa. In this photo they are observing all of the different characteristics of the trees and creating detailed drawings of their observations.


Readers Theatres!
The Grade 3/4s were invited to watch the Grade 7s perform their Readers Theatres. They were on twisted fairy tales. Our class had previously done Babba Yagga for Literacy Day so it was great to see the various ways to perform Readers Theatres. The Grade 3/4s are going to be doing some of their own Readers Theatres in the near future so this was an excellent way to expose them to it.
