
What teachers do when kids are at home...
Fit Kids Healthy Kids did a workshop in our gym to show teachers simple, inexpensive and fun games to play that get kids moving. Having kids moving increases blood flow to the brain, making them more alert and can increase focus as well. The games provide movement skills, fitness and teaches kids how to enjoy games that aren’t always competitive. The day was excellent! There was plenty of learning, laughs and exercise!

As we are back to things following Spring Break, the weather changes and the beautiful weather begins. With that, teachers and students will be headed outside to learn, be active and enjoy being outside the 4 classroom walls. April is the month when students are looking at what it means to be informed. Updates from your PAC – April 2017 newsletter Family Fun Night Our fourth Family Fun Night was held March 24, and we had almost 50 people again! This time, families had fun painting and playing, working up an appetite for yummy wraps in the kitchen. INQUISITIVE
What is ‘Inquiry’? Inquiry is a way of teaching that challenges students to be responsible for their own learning. Students formulate ‘Wonders’ of the world around them, and then, through a series of self-guided investigations, experiments and research, work to answer these ‘Wonders’.
