Gingerbread Man Adventure!

They measured and stirred and rolled and shaped. They put them in the oven and waited. Then the SKs came back to the kitchen to see empty cookie sheets. The Gingerbread Men were GONE! The students searched high and low through the school, no sign of them. Over the next few weeks the students received postcards from the Gingerbread Men. They had travelled all over the world, introducing the students to a variety of new destinations. Soon, a postcard read “We went to the Pinawa Mall”. Filled with excitement, the students knew their Gingerbread Men were close to home. Today after lunch, when the students came in from recess, their Gingerbread Men were back!!! They needed homes, so the students made Gingerbread houses. They counted candies and designed beautifully decorated homes made from graham crackers. The experience was both magical and educating. A great introduction to the magic of the holidays!
